Would something like this get stored in a treasure chest? Or framed on a wall?

Hiring a mover is easy, there are tons of them. But hiring a good one can often seem impossible. If you’ve opted to search the web and phone directory to find a budget company; here are a few things to keep in mind.

Are they insured? Accidents happen and sometimes they’re unavoidable. The important thing is that your mover is equipped to take responsibility if they are at fault.

Do they have a cancelation policy? Whenever you’re required to prepay for a service it’s good practice to know what you’ve signed up for.

Are they a registered company? You’re letting people you’ve never met into your home.

How do they answer their phone? I know it may sound trivial, but if they’re not holding a high standard of professionalism in representing their business, then what kind of standard do they hold when made responsible for your property?

Can you get in touch with them within a reasonable time frame? How long does it take them to return a call or email? For the times when you need to be in contact with your mover this will save your sanity.

For mover recommendations ask us! We’ve dealt with most of them.
